FACULTY POSITION IN MOLECULAR GENETICS OF PLANT DEVELOPMENT
The Department of Biology at Penn State University invites applications for a
tenure track faculty position starting Fall, 1993. We seek a creative person
working in the area of molecular and genetic plant development to join an
expanding group of faculty in plant developmental biology. Research areas of
particular interest include, but are not limited to, developmental genetics of
model systems, molecular analysis of development with large-scale DNA
techniques (RFLP, RAPD, YAC cloning), and analysis of transcriptional
regulation. Excellent facilities are available in the Biotechnology Institute.
Significant research accomplishments and evidence of potential to establish a
strong research program will be key considerations. Commitment to excellence
in undergraduate and graduate teaching is essential. Send curriculum vitae,
