Sure. The meaning of "crosslinking of carbonyl and amino compounds"
is "crosslinking of compounds (such as proteins) that are carbonyl
and amino compounds", not "crosslinking of, on the one hand, carbonyl
compounds with, on the other hand, amino compounds".
