I am not shy of critiquing Tom Mahoney's postings, but I feel he deserves
defending here. Though I am as sorry as the rest of us that he is not in
a position to divulge the names either of Lifeline Labs' advisory board or
of those whom it is funding, I consider it highly laudable that he and his
four named colleagues have been willing to invest money and effort in such
a venture, which may, for all we yet know, develop into a very significant
contributor to the funding of high-quality biogerontological research. We
all know that the more established anti-aging organisations vary rather a
lot in how much of the money they accrue goes into such research; in this
respect Tom is showing an example that we should not disparage.
