Ageing bionet readers,
Does anyone know of laboratories that have a more economical test
for IGF-1 levels in plasma? My accidental discovery of a cheap nutritional
way to directly stimulate the liver to produce a burst of IGF-1 increases
the need for IGF-1 testing, both to optimize the stimulus and to see that
it is working in a particular individual. Since the liver is a pretty
dependable organ, the method should work in virtually everyone, but it
doesn't hurt to verify it. Perhaps the increased demand for IGF-1 testing
will spur development of a more economical test.
