Is there any evidence that a clock resetting mechanism occurs in mammals
from generation to generation, akin to the ERCs in yeast segregating to
the mother cell? I haven't read all the mitochondria related posts
carefully yet, but I did skim something saying that there is a strong
selection process for the egg, and I seem to recall that all the
mitochondria of the zygote come from the egg, not the sperm. Is that it?
