Hello
If you have a moment...
I am a student in the Honours Co-operative Biochemistry program, at the
University of Waterloo, in Canada. I am interested in the topic of
aging, particularly at a mechanistic level. I was wondering if anyone you
knew of any short term positions (i.e. research assistant) available.
In January 1996, I will have an eight month work term, lasting until my
fourth year of school begins in early September 1996. Any leads you
could give me, particularly in Europe, would be most welcome.
I am currently in my third year of university, and have completed three
four month work terms. I spent my first two work terms at Atomic Energy of
Canada's Chalk River Laboratories, in the Environmental Research and
Radiation Biology branches. My third work term was at the Merck - Frosst
Institute in Montreal, and I will be returning there from May to August
1995. I have worked with DNA sequencing, the Polymerase Chain Reaction,
and protein production from modified E. coli.
I speak French and German at conversational levels, although non -
technically. My resume is available to anyone who's interested.
Thank you for your time.
