Precisely! You said in one short, concise paragraph what I spent a page
or so trying to say...but NO ONE with a mindset already wedded to giving
THEM longer life even want to openly and honestly consider the wider
ramifications, preferring to hope that problems will be dealt with only
after they arise. Unfortunately, this is all too typical of many human
endeavors. GIVE ME WHAT I WANT NOW, worry about the consequences later
when it is no longer possible to ignore them (and perhaps too late to do
anything about them).
