I may have misidentified this in previous post, L- 2 amino, 5
guanidopentanoic acid is arginine. Arginine is involved with the urea
cycle and might have implications related to those pointed out by Dr.
Proctor. One of its metabolites is ornithine which is supposed to be a
radical scavenger.
